Altitude Projects

The Altitude Projects is a continuation of Discovering your Passion and Purpose Workshop and Challenge Day where teenagers feel empowered to get involved in their community and make a mark on the world!

8th grade students lead the project with support from an Altitude advisor and complete 5 or more projects The students become connected with their passions and purpose and create and implement meaningful service projects within their community and empowerment statements through media.

Altitude members meet once a week from November to May and create and implement meaningful hands-on projects. Members work together to plan and complete 5 or more projects (2 service and 3 media).

Service

Altitude members step into a leadership role where they feel empowered to get involved in their community and make a mark on the world. Members come together and determine the needs within their school and outside community. They create and implement meaningful hands-on projects. Members will take the time to reflect and document their experience and share their success stories.

Media

You will have the opportunity to learn all kinds of skills such as acting, audio and video production, journalism, social media and website design. Your messages will get aired on TV, Radio and throughout Social Media. Come be part of something bigger than yourself. Join the Altitude Club!
